Joe Elliott

There is actually an “interesting” story to go along with this portrait. If you wouldn’t mind taking a minute to read it. It is on Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/posts/40106054

Time: WAYYYYYYYY longer than it should have…
Size: A4

Tools:

Schoellershammer 4R paper
Faber-Castell and Boesner pencils
Kneaded Eraser
Electric Eraser
Various Brushes
Tissue/Paper Towel
Charcoal mixed into graphite dust for background texture.

This has almost taken a year to complete… I went through months of not drawing anything seriously… My motivation was just lacking. I hope this brings back in the will to draw! Hopefully, there will be more to come in the near future. Please keep your fingers crossed!

The reference for this was a TINY photo found on the internet. We all know just how much detail is in google images haha! Needless to say, this was VERY difficult to complete.

Here are some of the progress shots of this piece.
