I have never done wrinkles to this extent, so I needed to try!  And I really did have a whole lot of fun with it.

However… Usually, when doing portraits of specific people, I use a grid to get the proportions right.  Yeah, this time, I didn’t… and I am regretting it.  I thought I could just freehand it on the paper and that’s it.  I am my own worst critic and I can’t help but tear it apart now that it is completed.

Maybe it will grow on me haha
