Necessity is the mother of invention!
Sometimes, you get to a point in your drawing where you want to just tear it in half and start over! Believe me, I have done that my share of times…
This time, I figured I would try something a little different! Instead of misplaced eyes being the destruction of the piece, I threw together a make-shift light box out of a set of Christmas lights and a plastic storage box. Perfect! Well, it could have been a little brighter, but it got the job done!
Now, I don’t have to worry about completely starting my lines over just because I screwed up the eye placement! I just darkened the lines really good, rearranged the eyes, and back to work!
So, if you are ever in a pinch, just work with what you have! Chances are, it works better (and is cheaper) than the store-bought alternatives!
