Sorry for so many posts today! The gears are really grinding from now until the end of the year.
I wanted to give you guys a little update on the book. I’ve run into a slight snag. I have the digital pages all finished up and the book is ready to roll. I do have a couple of pieces I can work on to still fit in, but the bulk of it is press ready.
But… Seems I underestimated some costs and quantities.
The printing company I want to go through won’t take orders less than 250 prints. I thought that minimum requirement was MUCH lower. I don’t know what I would do with 250 books, anyway haha! I am a very novice artist when it comes to things like this, so 250 is a bit high.
The base cost to me is about 17+ bucks per 115 page book. Yeah… you are seeing that right… And this is without shipping cost.
So, what now? Well, the only thing I can do. Continue to save! So far, the amount I have collected has gone towards supply costs for the artwork created and for the printing/shipping for all of the goodies I send out to my supporters in the month. Art just doesn’t pay for itself. *le sigh*
I will try one more time to find a local printer that will stick to smaller numbers, first and foremost. If anyone knows a better option for printing, please let me know!

I am also going to be doing a lot of sketch cards for sale. Those are inexpensive and quick to create. If you know of anyone who collects, please do send them my direction!
I am also going to be doing a few non-commercial works for sale. Originals only. This means I can go crazy with who/what/when.
At this moment, I could use all the help I can get because I REALLLLLY want this book done before we leave Estonia. I am *still* pushing for the end of the year, but that date keeps fading into the distance. If you know anyone, anywhere, who would be interested in buying some original arts or signed prints, please PLEASE beg them to do me a little favor. *lol*
And with this, we will be back to the regularly scheduled programming in the very near future!
